Cal Lutheran women's water polo put together another dominating performance
on Saturday earning a 10-3 conference win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at the
Samuelson Aquatics Center.
Twelve different players found the back of the net as the Cal Lutheran Regals cruised to a 19-4 victory over Caltech this afternoon on the road in SCIAC play.
Cal Lutheran scored nine unanswered goals turning a first quarter deficit
into a 10-3 win over La Verne on Saturday at the Samuelson Aquatics Center. The
Regals defense held the Leopards scoreless for a 23-plus minute stretch in the
victory.
Cal Lutheran women's water polo was on the short end of a 10-3 decision to
No. 17 ranked Division I program Cal State University Northridge at the
Samuelson Aquatics Center on Thursday afternoon.
Starting on Wednesday, March 21, four different Cal Lutheran teams will host top-15 nationally ranked programs over the next two days. The men's tennis team will start things off against No. 1 Amherst on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
Cal Lutheran women's water polo erased a one-goal deficit with five fourth quarter goals in an
11-8 victory over Mercyhurst to close out the Wolverine Invitational on Sunday.
Kelsey Bergemann scored three of her game-high five goals over the final five
minutes of regulation.
Cal Lutheran women's water polo closed out day one of the Wolverine Invite at
the University of Michigan campus by winning its final two games on Saturday
afternoon. CLU Goalkeeper Jessika Bell made a career-high 17 saves in a 12-5
win over Gannon.
On day two of the Claremont
Convergence the women's water polo team earned a 10-5 victory over Sienna
in the morning and followed up with a 13-9 win against Cal State University San
Bernardino to conclude a perfect 4-0 weekend. CLU has won five straight.
It took a great fourth quarter come-back for the
Cal Lutheran women's water polo team to take home a 12-10 victory over
Concordia-Irvine, to conclude the opening day of the Claremont
Convergence with a pair of wins. In the morning game, CLU defeated
Macalester 17-3.
A Sunday tripleheader conclude the Cal Lutheran women's water polo team's
three day, seven game schedule during this weekend's Posada
Royale Invitational. The Regals won two of three games on the day and
finished 5-2 overall.
