Being a collegiate student-athlete is a challenging task and in the grand scheme of things not many can say they were. Being a two-sport athlete is even trickier, but at Cal Lutheran, junior Lauren Chrislu serves as the only three-sport athlete for the Kingsmen or Regals as she competes in the Violet and Gold from August to May without a break and continues to excel in the classroom and other areas of the CLU community.
The second SCIAC Multi-Dual meet of the season was hosted by Cal Lutheran at Pomona-Pitzer where numerous season and personal best marks were met by the Regals who split with Caltech and Occidental, defeating the Beavers 136.5-8.5 and falling to the Tigers 95-67.
Cal Lutheran is one of 450 Division III institutions around the country. During the week of April 4-10, all members will host Division III Week, aimed at celebrating what those schools have to offer student-athletes in the classroom, in the field of play and in the community during the 42nd year of the NCAA.
