Vanessa McPadden

Head Coach

Vanessa McPadden recently completed her fifth season as the head coach of the Regals tennis program in 2015.

She took over at the helm in 2010 and finished with 11 victories. After a year hiatus from coaching in 2011, she returned to the reigns in 2012 and guided the Regals to 12 victories and a third consecutive fourth place finish in the SCIAC standings.

Coach McPadden has an extensive playing career, having earned athletic scholarships to both Baylor University (Texas) and the University of Arizona.

After attending BU for the 1996-97 season she returned to her home state to play for the Wildcats from 1997-2001. At that time she was a nationally ranked junior in both singles and doubles play.

McPadden completed her undergraduate study at Arizona earning a degree in business with a minor in accounting in 2001.

While coaching the Regals she is pursuing her Masters of Business Administration.

In her spare time she enjoys mountain biking and running.
