California Lutheran University has entered into an agreement with the Los Angeles Rams to allow the team to base its training operations on the university’s Thousand Oaks campus for at least two years.
A cross country trip and rain delay against Eckerd College on Friday afternoon was well worth the trip for the Cal Lutheran women’s tennis team as the Regals defeated the Division II Tritons with a 9-0 sweep. On Monday, the Violet and Gold returned to the courts against NAIA Southeastern, earning a 7-2 victory to stretch their win-streak to five matches.
After starting the season with eight straight matches at home, the Cal Lutheran women’s tennis team won its sixth overall, and third straight, with a 9-0 sweep over visiting Wheaton (Mass.) on Thursday night at Poulson Tennis Center.
After a rainout postponed the meeting between these two teams last Friday, the Cal Lutheran women’s tennis team was eager to compete, and it showed with a 7-2 victory over Principia (Ill.) on Tuesday night at Poulson Tennis Center.
After rain washed out the last two scheduled competition dates for the Cal Lutheran women’s tennis team, the Regals were able to return to action today hosting Vassar (N.Y.) in non-conference action. A 2-1 deficit after doubles play was reversed as CLU stole five of six singles sets to win 6-3.
On a perfect February morning the Cal Lutheran women’s tennis team hosted Holy Names in a non-conference match at the Poulson Tennis Center where the Regals powered past the NCAA Division II Hawks 6-3.
On a beautiful Friday afternoon, the Cal Lutheran women’s tennis team continued Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) action by taking down Caltech 9-0 at Poulson Tennis Center.
