Regals Battle Bulldogs in Dual Match

CLU shoots a 337 against Redlands

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – In a single day, single round matchup against Redlands on Sunday, the Cal Lutheran women’s golf team recorded a team total of 337 (+53) at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Round One: Freshman Chloe Barnes continued her success this fall, leading the Regals with a round of 82 (+11) to finish fourth overall. Solveig Christenson was close behind with an 84 (+13) to finish tied for fifth overall and junior Courtney Martin fired an 85 to place tied for eighth. Rounding out the Regals competitors were Delaney Buck (86), Erica Mitchell (91), Hanna Pasco (92) and Karlie Lemon (103). Lemon made her CLU debut for the Violet and Gold while Martin made her first appearance this fall.

Caroline Ordian of Redlands shot a 74 (+3) to lead all players in the dual match.

The fall portion of Cal Lutheran’s schedule has come to a close. The remainder of the 2015-16 schedule for the Regals will be played after the New Year and a completed schedule will be available later in the academic year.
