THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran women's volleyball program is hosting their All-American Volleyball Camp from July 13-15 for elite high school girls ages 15-18 interested in improving their skills and playing at the collegiate level.
The camp is led by the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship coaching staff and features over 15 hours of on-court instruction.
Head Coach Kellee Roesel led the Regals to their first national title in program history in 2015, guiding the team to a 31-5 record and sixth straight SCIAC crown. In her 12 years at CLU, she holds a 308-76 record, the most wins by any coach in program history, as well as, 10 NCAA tournament appearances and seven SCIAC championships.
She is assisted by men's volleyball head coach and women's volleyball assistant coach, Kevin Judd. He has served as an assistant coach for the women's program since 2006, primarily overseeing the outside hitters and setters. In the fall of 2015, he was named the AVCA Assistant Coach of the Year and named the first NCAA men's volleyball coach in Cal Lutheran history.
With the help of current Regals volleyball players, the camp has a low camper-to-coach ratio (10:1) with overnight chaperones. On-campus housing in CLU residence halls and meal plans for the Ullman Dining Commons are provided for overnight campers. The three-day camp also includes expert speakers on strength training, nutrition and recruiting and detailed player evaluations from the coaching staff.
