RIVERSIDE, Calif.– The California Lutheran University men's cross-country team finished sixth in the UC Riverside Invitational, as Jonathan Aguilar posted a personal at the meet.
"I felt the meet went really well," said Head Coach Matt Lea. "I was really proud of how they executed the race strategy and competed hard. With a total time of 2:24.51, the Kingsmen would finish in sixth place, just behind fifth-place Chapman.
Rigoberto Baza tallied the best Cal Lutheran time of the day, crossing the line at 27:56.40 to earn 28 points for his team. Baza finished 71stoverall at the meet while earning CLU's best time for the second straight meet.
Just behind Baza was Connor Griffin, coming in at 28:24.56 to grab 29 points after finishing 84thoverall.
