Cal Lutheran Elite Kingsmen Volleyball Camp

Cal Lutheran Elite Kingsmen Volleyball Camp

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.— The Cal Lutheran men's volleyball program is hosting their Elite Kingsmen Volleyball Camp from July 15-17 for high school boys ages 15-18 interested in improving their skills and playing at the collegiate level.

The camp features over 15 hours of on-court instruction and low camper-to-coach ratio (10:1) with overnight chaperones. On-campus housing in CLU residence halls and meal plans for the Ullman Dining Commons are provided for overnight campers. The three-day camp also includes expert speakers on strength training, nutrition and recruiting and detailed player evaluations from the coaching staff.

Head Coach Kevin Judd was named the first NCAA men's volleyball coach in Cal Lutheran history in fall of 2015, after being named the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Assistant Coach of the Year for his contribution to the women's volleyball 2015 NCAA Division III National Championships title. In the men's program's short four year tenure, he has lifted the Kingsmen to No. 8 in the nation in the AVCA poll and in 2018, the Kingsmen defeated No. 4 Stevens.
