THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran football program is hosting two camps this summer for high school athletes interested in improving their skills and playing at the next level, with special guests from the University of Texas and University of Oregon coaching staffs.
The non-padded half day workout is aimed at preparing high school athletes for collegiate play. Participants have the opportunity to get college exposure and detailed on-field instruction from nationally-renown coaches.
Members of the University of Texas Coaching Staff will be in attendance at the June 7 campwhile staff from the University of Oregon will be at the June 14 camp. Check in begins at 2 p.m. and the instruction begins at 4 p.m.
Head Coach Ben McEnroe is entering his 13 th season at helm of Kingsmen football. Since his return to Cal Lutheran in 2007, he has led the program to five SCIAC championships and four appearances in the NCAA Division III championships.
