Capped off her historical career with her name in the CLU record books multiple times…finished second all-time at CLU in appearances (94) and innings pitched (530.2), tied for third in strikeouts (265), fourth in complete games (61), sixth in wins (41) and tied for eighth with one save…started 78 games and threw 61 complete games with six shutouts…Sooy faced 2514 batters and allowed a .290 batting average against in her four years…graduated with a career 3.52 ERA… also finished career with name in single-season record books numerous times…second with 31 appearances (2015), tenth with 13 wins (2016), fourth with 165.2 innings pitched (2015), eighth with 151 innings pitched (2016), fourth with 20 complete games (2015), tied for fifth with 19 complete games (2016) and sixth with 87 strikeouts (2015)…produced a career .260 batting average with 67 hits, including 17 doubles, one triple and three homeruns and walked 22 times…scored 43 times and collected 33 RBIs…finished with career .929 fielding percentage with 100 assists and 30 putouts…leaves as one of the most decorated pitchers in CLU history.

2016 (Softball) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Was a standout pitcher for the Regals as a junior…lead the team in almost all pitching categories, including innings pitched (151.0), complete games (19), wins (13), and ERA (3.01)…pitched a complete game shutout with four strikeouts against Occidental (Mar. 19)…recorded a save against Redlands (May 1) in the season finale…also contributed offensively with a .241 batting average (14-for-58)…notched three doubles and walked six times to collect 17 total bases…stole four bases…added nine RBIs and scored seven runs…went 3-for-5 against Hope International (Feb. 2)…was 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run against Occidental (Apr. 23).

Emerged as one of the top freshman pitchers in the SCIAC during the season...led the team with a 9-7 record in the circle...had a 4.23 ERA and struck-out a team high 120 batters...led the CLU pitchers with 97.2 innings pitched...also played in the field, hitting .283 with 15 hits including a double, triple and home run...struck out a season-high 10 batters in her collegiate debut...pitched a season-high 8.1 innings against La Verne and earned the extra-inning win.

Graduated in 2013…earned four varsity softball letters for the Eagles…individual accolades include being named the Offensive Player of the Year (2010), Defensive Player of the Year (2011)…two-time (2010, 2013) First Team and two-time (2011, 2012) Second Team All-Mission League selection…named Most Valuable Pitcher by the Mission League as a senior…also earned team MVP honors as a senior…led the Eagles to Mission League championships in 2011 and 2013…credits her greatest personal sports moments as hitting a three-run homerun to put her team in the championship and pitching six games in one day, recording four victories and a pair of saves.
