Kjontvedt, Wilkins power Regals offense

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Mar. 14, 2007) – Powered by senior third baseman Prudence Kjontvedt and senior second baseman Katy Wilkins, and pitching that allowed no earned runs, the Regals completed a sweep of non-conference Fairleigh-Dickinson with 5-3 and 9-1 victories at Gibello Field on the campus of California Lutheran University today.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Mar. 4, 2007) – Composure was key in game two of a double header at Gibello Field for the California Lutheran University Regals softball team today. A come from behind win in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the Regals a 3-2 victory over the University of La Verne Leopards after falling 12-6 in the opener.

Four members of the 13-woman squad were recently named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All America Scholar-Athletes for the 2005-06 season.
