California Lutheran University is dedicated to excellence in the liberal arts and professional studies at the undergraduate and graduate level. The city of Thousand Oaks is consistently ranked among the safest of its size in the country. Just 14 miles from Malibu and the Pacific Ocean and nestled between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, the area has no shortage of outdoor and indoor activities and famous sites to check out. Hollywood, Disneyland, and the Getty Museum are just a few places that are within a short drive from campus. If you're into it, you can ski or snowboard in the morning and paddle out for a surf in the afternoon!

CLU sponsors 19 NCAA Division III varsity sports and competes in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, one of the oldest conferences in the nation. CLU teams and individuals have been extremely successful, collecting almost 60 SCIAC titles since joining the league in 1991. The Kingsmen and Regals squads have produced numerous all-American selections for their play on the field and their academic achievements in the classroom.
