SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
2 of 3 football cheers will be chosen
An 8 eight-count dance
Jumps: Toe touch, pike, right and left hurdler
Kicks: Right and left
Tumbling: Any skills you feel confident performing. It is recommended that you have a standing back-handspring
Stunting: Your position(s) will be evaluated
Important upcoming dates (2011):
August 22 - Prospective cheerleaders move in to their dorms on CLU campus
August 23 - Tryout routines taught 9 am - 12pm and 2pm-6pm (see below for more information on skills that will be evaluated)
August 24 - Athletic Clearance Day; Tryouts; Decisions on new team made
August 25 - New team will practice 9am-12pm and 2pm-6pm; Uniform fitting
August 26 - New team will practice 9am-12pm and 2pm-6pm; Team bonding event
August 27-30 - New student orientation
August 31 - First day of school
