PASADENA, Calif. – Ryan Brem, the lone representative from the Cal Lutheran men’s diving team, competed on the three-meter board on day two of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Diving Preliminaries at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center today.

The sophomore tallied a 295.45 on his 11-dive list to place fifth. His finish in the field of 13 earned him the opportunity to compete for the Kingsmen at the SCIAC Championships next weekend as the top eight men move on.

For the second consecutive day James Stevick from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps won the event by scoring a 465.00 and qualifying to compete at the NCAA Division III National Championships in March in both one and three-meter events.

Eli Neibuhr (359.30) from Redlands placed second while a pair of Leopards from La Verne, Scott MacKay and Jake Tittl, scored a 329.25 and 315.05, respectively, to finish third and fourth.
