Scholar-Athlete Society Recognizes 100 Students

Student-Athletes honored for classroom accomplishments

A record-setting group of 100 student-athetes from 19 teams at California Lutheran University were recognized by the school's Scholar Athlete Society at a year-end banquet.

All the students maintained a 3.4 GPA or higher for the academic year while particpating as a NCAA Division III student-athlete.

Each of the 100 students and their parents were welcomed to a breakfast in May where the athletes were inducted into the 2009 CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.
