Kingsmen Show Strength at Distance Carnival

With a full day of events on Friday, the Cal Lutheran men’s track and field team competed at the Occidental Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic and had many strong performances throughout the meet at Bill Henry Track inside Jack Kemp Stadium.

In the first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) dual meet of the season, the Cal Lutheran men’s track and field team defeated Caltech 102-43 while falling to La Verne 122-38 on Saturday afternoon at Ortmayer Stadium.

2015-16: A Year in Review

The 2015-16 academic year was a memorable one for the Cal Lutheran athletics department. With 430 student-athletes occupying 460 roster spots, a number of milestones were met including the first NCAA Division III National title in school history, which was achieved by the women’s volleyball team, and an individual national champion crowned to round out the year.
