In the final SCIAC Multi-Dual meet of the season the Cal Lutheran men’s track and field team earned a pair of victories over Caltech (124-33) and Pomona-Pitzer (96-58) while being narrowly edged by La Verne (83-76).
During Division III Week Cal Lutheran will feature a number of student-athletes. Our final spotlight is senior Kendall Sauter who earned a Presidential scholarship, competed on the track and field team for four years, studied abroad and became involved in campus in a plethora of other ways during her time at CLU.
Cal Lutheran is one of 448 Division III institutions around the country. During the week of April 7-13, all members will host Division III Week, aimed at celebrating what those schools have to offer student-athletes in the classroom, in the field of play and in the community during the 40th year of the NCAA.
On the second day of the 21st annual Cal/Nevada Championships hosted by the University of California, San Diego Cal Lutheran men’s track and field members had a strong showing with a pair of new Top-10 marks.
A select group of seven Cal Lutheran men’s track and field team members travelled to the University of California, San Diego for the 21st annual Cal/Nevada Championships that began on Friday afternoon.
For the second consecutive SCIAC Multi-Dual meet of the season the Cal Lutheran men’s track and field team earned a split on the day, defeating Whittier 101-60 despite falling to Redlands 104-58 today at La Verne.
The final Saturday of spring break for the Kingsmen was spent on the track as the Cal Lutheran men’s track and field team competed against 10 other teams from across the country at the second annual Ross & Sharon Irwin Collegiate Scoring Meet where the Violet and Gold finished seventh.
The Cal Lutheran men’s track and field team sent a large contingency to compete at the 2014 Occidental Distance Carnival and Sprints Festival that featured teams and athletes from various levels and all locations.
