On Friday at the Claremont Multi-Event, Casey Anderson improved her career best in the heptathlon scoring 4,315 points. The mark not only is second best in school history but also ranks her top-10 in the nation in the heptathlon.

California Lutheran University track and field athlete Kyle Hansen earned dual honors of conference track and field athlete of the year along with SCIAC Athlete of the Week for his outstanding performance at the 2008 conference championships this past weekend.

The California Lutheran University men’s track and field squad took third place at the 2008 SCIAC Championship meet hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Saturday. Junior Kyle Hansen had a career day winning the three individual SCIAC titles.

The California Lutheran University track & field teams will be competing at the 2008 SCIAC Championships hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges this weekend. After both the men’s and women’s teams took third at the SCIAC Multi-Duals, CLU has big hopes in winning its first ever conference championship.

The men’s and women’s track and field teams both earned third place finishes at the SCIAC Multi-Duals meet hosted by the University of Redlands on Saturday. The highlight of the day was the Regals 4x100 meter relay squad that won the event and broke an 18-year old school record going 49.25.

Both the men’s and women’s track & field teams took part in the non-scoring Pomona-Pitzer Invitational this past Saturday. The meet welcomed all-comers including an elite field of non-student athletes.

The California Lutheran University men’s track & field team finished sixth out of 12 teams at the Point Loma Nazarene Invitational this past Saturday. Peter Vermillion and Kyle Hansen combined for a runner-up, two third and a pair of fourth place finishes on the day.

Track & Field team members Casey Anderson and Scott Jones wrapped up competition at the two-day Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) Invitational on Friday. Both athletes took fifth place in the women’s heptathlon and men’s decathlon, respectively.
