In the program's inaugural season of competition in 2003-04, the Cal Lutheran
men's swimming and diving squad consisted of only one member who practiced not
only alone, but at an off-campus location. The team has grown in quantity and
quality with each of the 10 All-Decade Team members having earned a
Championship Finals appearance at the annual SCIAC Championships including a
pair of individual titles.

The CLU athletics department will be honoring its finest athletes over the past 10 years by releasing Cal Lutheran All-Decade Teams throughout the upcoming summer. The reigning SCIAC Champion football team will be the first of 19 programs to have its all-decade team announced, schedule to be released on Monday, May 24.

The Cal Lutheran Scholar-Athlete Society held its annual
banquet on May 8 and inducted 91 student-athletes for achieving at
least a 3.4 cumulative GPA during the 2009-10 academic year. Seven CLU
senior athletes were honored after making their fourth appearance in as
many years.

Inside Gilbert Arena on Monday night members of all
the Cal Lutheran athletic programs were honored for their accomplishments at
the 2009-10 Student Athlete Recognition Event.

The Kingsmen concluded the 2010 SCIAC Swimming and
Diving Championships with a fifth place team finish on Tuesday evening at the
Belmont Olympic Plaza. Jake Kaija highlighted the final day for the Kingsmen
breaking three individual school records.

At the conclusion of day two of the 2010 SCIAC Swimming
& Diving Championships the Regals maintained its fourth place position
while the Kingsmen dropped to fifth place. Senior Amanda Graves notched the
first CLU podium finish taking third place in the 100-yard butterfly.

During day one of the 2010
SCIAC Swimming and Diving Championships the Cal Lutheran squads finished in
fourth place with two days of competition remaining at the Belmont Olympic
Plaza. Three of four CLU relays finished third place during Sunday's
competition.

The Cal Lutheran men's and women's swimming and diving
teams will take part in the 2010
SCIAC Championships hosted by the University of La Verne at the Belmont
Olympic Plaza in the city of Long Beach. The three-day event will start Sunday,
February 21 at 9 a.m. with swimming preliminaries.
