2015-16: A Year in Review

The 2015-16 academic year was a memorable one for the Cal Lutheran athletics department. With 430 student-athletes occupying 460 roster spots, a number of milestones were met including the first NCAA Division III National title in school history, which was achieved by the women’s volleyball team, and an individual national champion crowned to round out the year.

Kingsmen, Regals Release Cross Country Schedule

With the fall season right around the corner, the Cal Lutheran men’s and women’s cross country teams have released its schedule that features two Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) meets and seven total events in 2016.

CLU Hosts 13th Scholar-Athlete Society Induction

Throughout the school year, much of the day-to-day focus is directed towards the successes of the Cal Lutheran athletics programs, but on Saturday, May 7, a group of 150 student-athletes, with their families and friends, gathered inside of the Gilbert Arena for the 13th CLU Scholar-Athlete Society Induction ceremony where academics were praised. 

Cal Lutheran to Participate in Fifth Annual Division III Week

Cal Lutheran is one of 450 Division III institutions around the country. During the week of April 4-10, all members will host Division III Week, aimed at celebrating what those schools have to offer student-athletes in the classroom, in the field of play and in the community during the 42nd year of the NCAA.

LA Rams Training Moving to Cal Lutheran

California Lutheran University has entered into an agreement with the Los Angeles Rams to allow the team to base its training operations on the university’s Thousand Oaks campus for at least two years.

Kingsmen, Regals Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

Kingsmen Run in NCAA Division III West Regional Race

For the final time of the fall, the Cal Lutheran men’s cross country team lined up to race. This morning, at the 2015 NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country West Regional meet hosted by Pomona-Pitzer the seven Kingsmen, five seniors and a pair of freshmen, placed 16th as a group.

Kingsmen Conclude SCIAC Championships in Eighth
