Van Klaveren Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Aaron Van Klaveren was named to the College Sports Information Directors of
America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 2011-12 Men's Basketball Team. He is one of five
Division III players to be selected from District 8 which includes eight states
and Canada.
On the court this season Van Klaveren is averaging over 16
points and 11 rebounds per contest. He has recorded double-doubles in 13-of-18
games this year and has held top-20 national marks in multiple statistical
categories.
Van Klaveren is a senior currently pursuing his degree in
business administration. His career goals include becoming a real estate
entrepreneur, Ag. Commodities broker, and farming.
Rounding out the District 8 Division III team is Felix
Friedt and Wade Gebbers of Whitworth, Kaleb Shelton-Johnson of Puget Sound, and
Chris Barnes from Texas-Dallas.
All of the First Team District selections will also be
automatically nominated for Academic All-America honors.
