Garrett Teichmann, a junior on the California Lutheran University golf team has been named to the All-SCIAC Second Team for his performance over the 2008 season. Teichmann placed third among SCIAC individuals at the SCIAC Championships held on the Los Serranos golf course on April 28.
The California Lutheran University golf team finished in fifth place at the SCIAC championship at the Los Serranos South golf course on Monday. Garrett Teichmann led the Kingsmen and finished third among individuals after he shot a 72 in the first round and then a 68 in the second round.
The California Lutheran University golf team concluded the first half of SCIAC action on Thursday afternoon with its best finish of the season taking third place in the team standings. The California Lutheran University golf team completed its own CLU Kingsmen Invitational on Tuesday with a tenth place finish after the two-day event at the La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc. Joshua Knight and Cameron Hurdus collected the top scores for the Kingsmen as they tied at 243 strokes.
