Garrett Teichmann, a junior on the California Lutheran University golf team has been named to the All-SCIAC Second Team for his performance over the 2008 season. Teichmann placed third among SCIAC individuals at the SCIAC Championships held on the Los Serranos golf course on April 28.

The California Lutheran University golf team finished in fifth place at the SCIAC championship at the Los Serranos South golf course on Monday. Garrett Teichmann led the Kingsmen and finished third among individuals after he shot a 72 in the first round and then a 68 in the second round.

The California Lutheran University golf team concluded the first half of SCIAC action on Thursday afternoon with its best finish of the season taking third place in the team standings. Garrett Teichmann was the only player on the par-71 Sterling Hills Golf Course to shoot under par (-2) in winning the individual title.

The California Lutheran University golf team wrapped up round four of five SCIAC competitions with a fifth place result at the par-72 Brookside Golf Course on Monday. Eric Bunge finished in a tie for fifth overall with his two-over 74 to lead the Kingsmen.

The California Lutheran University golf team finished eighth place out of 12 schools at the West Region Invitational hosted by Southwestern (TX) University. The three-round, two-day event took place at the par-72 Berry Creek Country Club and concluded on Tuesday afternoon.

The California Lutheran University golf team traveled to Tustin Ranch Golf Course to defeat Chapman University, 313-322 on Tuesday afternoon. CLU freshman Eric Bunge led the way with a team low round of three-over 75.

The California Lutheran University golf team concluded the third of five SCIAC regular season rounds at the Sierra La Verne Country Club in fourth place on Monday afternoon. The Kingsmen edged Pomona-Pitzer by one stroke to move up a spot from its previous two results.

The California Lutheran University golf team completed its own CLU Kingsmen Invitational on Tuesday with a tenth place finish after the two-day event at the La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc. Joshua Knight and Cameron Hurdus collected the top scores for the Kingsmen as they tied at 243 strokes.
