Jason Hirsh ('04) was called up to the show on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 and will start for the Houston Astros on Saturday, August 12, 2006. He brings a 13-2 Triple-A record and a 2.10 ERA with him to Houston. Hirsh was named the top prospect of the Houston Astro's organization prior to the 2006 season by Baseball America.

(Apr. 17) – The second game of the March 4 doubleheader against Pomona–Pitzer hosted by Cal Lutheran at George “Sparky” Anderson Field was stopped due to darkness with the score tied 6–6, and the SCIAC contest continued on Monday afternoon with Pomona defeating the Kingsmen 8–6 in 11 innings.
