Kingsmen Play in Pacific Northwest

A four-game road trip to the Pacific Northwest was a challenge for the ABCA No. 10 Cal Lutheran baseball team as the Kingsmen defeated Puget Sound 9-4 on Thursday before having a 15-game win-streak snapped by sister school Pacific Lutheran on Friday. PLU earned a three-game series sweep.

The No. 13 Cal Lutheran baseball team stretched its streak to 14 in a row with a pair of wins over Whittier on Saturday afternoon at Ullman Stadium. In game one, the Kingsmen cruised to a 5-1 victory before a come-from-behind 7-4 victory in game two.

In Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) road action on Friday afternoon, the No. 13 Cal Lutheran baseball team blasted past Whittier 13-3 to mark the 12th straight win for the Kingsmen and seventh straight in conference play.

The Kingsmen took another one-run victory with a 3-2 win in game one before rallying for an 8-5 win in the nightcap at Ullman Stadium.
