CLU Wallops Whitman to End Arizona Trip

ANTHEM, Ariz. - Cal Lutheran baseball concluded its
four-game, four-day Arizona road trip with a resounding 15-2 win over Whitman
on Sunday. John LaMoure tossed five scoreless innings to pick up the win while
the offense was supplied throughout as a team effort.

LaMoure struck out seven and gave up just four hits before giving way to the
Kingsmen bullpen. Tyler Hebda, Aaron Roth and Byron Minnich combined to close
out the final four innings and preserve an insurmountable advantage.
Several CLU players highlighted the team's offensive output including
Richard Michelin and Nicholas DellaValle combined to go 6-for-7 and score four
runs. Michelin was one of six different Kingsmen to contribute two RBI.
Four from the aforementioned group blasted a home run including Seth Dolar,
Nick Boggan, K.C. Judge and Tom Hocutt.
Cal Lutheran (2-4) will begin conference play on the road
Friday, Feb. 18 against Occidental.
