Amanda Hamilton

Track & Field

SCIAC Athlete of the Week

Amanda Hamilton led the Regals to a split of the competition in the first SCIAC Multi-Dual meet of the season at Strehle Track over the weekend with three individual event wins. The senior All-American sprinted her way to a victory in the 100m with a personal-best time of 12.53, which now ranks eighth all-time in the CLU record books, and another first-place finish in the 200m (25.83). In her strongest event, Hamilton cruised to first in the Triple Jump with a distance of 11.50m. For good measure, Hamilton helped the Regals 4x100 and 4x400 Relays to second-place finishes.

Nick Dallas

Nick Dallas helped the Kingsmen golf team upset No. 3 Berry and finish in a tie for fourth at The Masters College Spring Invitational early last week at Robinson Ranch Golf Club. The junior Westlake, Calif. native opened the tournament with a two-under par 70 before carding a round of 75 (+3), followed by another 70 (-2) to tie for sixth overall as an individual. Dallas was one of five players to record an Eagle, and he finished with a 54-hole score of 215 (-1).
