Athletes of the Week

Week of November 3, 2014

Nick Isham

Nick Isham tied a Cal Lutheran school record with six touchdown passes and he threw for a season-high 417 yards in a 49-39 win over Occidental. He completed 22-of-34 pass attempts for a 64.7 completion percentage and he averaged 12.3 yards per attempt. Isham spread the ball around evenly, connecting with five different receivers, three of which totaled over 100 yards. He had three touchdown passes in each half including two critical scores in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. His 10-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Worthley at the start of the fourth quarter capped off an 11-play 93-yard drive and gave the Kingsmen the lead for good over the Tigers. For good measure, Isham ran the ball 11 times in the game for 56 yards and leads all quarterbacks in the SCIAC this season with 456 yards.
