Amanda Hamilton

Track & Field

After overcoming an early season injury, Amanda Hamilton has returned to form and led the Regals Track & Field team to an undefeated SCIAC record so far this year. During the SCIAC Quad-Meet No. 2, Hamilton won the triple jump and in doing so, set the top Division III mark thus far this season with a leap of 11.64 meters. Hamilton continued her strong meet as she helped CLU's 4x 100m relay team take first place in a time of 48.07. The sophomore rounded out her meet by taking second in the 400 meter hurdle race.

Spencer DuBois

After a slow start to the season, Spencer DuBois has been the difference as Cal Lutheran has vaulted into the top of the SCIAC standings. For the weekend, DuBois was 6-for-6 with three RBIs, two runs scored and a double. In a crucial West-Region match-up against Pacific Lutheran, DuBois was 3-for-3 and scored the eventual winning run before later adding an RBI double in a 3-0 victory over the Lutes. In his lone start against Caltech, DuBois was again 3-for-3 at the plate, this time adding two RBIs and a stolen base. Over his last four games, DuBois is 11-for-12 (.917) with six RBIs and two doubles.

Scott Peters

In an all-important West Region non-conference match-up between Cal Lutheran and Pacific Lutheran, Scott Peters out dueled Lutes' ace Trevor Lubking, throwing 7.0 shut-out innings in a 3-0 victory for the Kingsmen. The junior from Honolulu had a no-hitter going through the first 5.2 innings and finished with a season-high five strikeouts while allowing just two hits. For the season, Peters has a 2.25 ERA and opponents are hitting just .236 against him.
