Adrienne Ingalla

Water Polo

During a six-game weekend, junior Adrienne Ingalla scored a team-leading 13 goals in 26 attempts for a shooting percentage of 50.0 and has been the most accurate CLU offensive threat all season. She scored in each game as the Regals faced a full slate of Division I and II programs, upsetting Fresno Pacific in the opening game of the weekend. Ingalla added 15 steals, five assists, four drawn ejections and a pair of field blocks. Against Azusa Pacific, Sonoma State and Villanova she netted three goals and against APU she added four steals.


Arik Smith


Junior Arik Smith helped lead Cal Lutheran to a 54-53 upset of top- seeded Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in the SCIAC Post Season Tournament Semifinal after scoring a career-high 31 points. Pouring in all but 23 of CLU's points, Smith was 11-for-20 from the floor and 7-for-7 from the free-throw line as the Kingsmen snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Stags. Smith also led CLU defensively, nabbing a game high four steals and was also second on the team with six rebounds. In the Championship game against Chapman, Smith was the lone scorer in double-figures for the Kingsmen, totaling 19 points while bringing his season scoring average to 16.8 per game.
