Natalie Stone

Basketball

In 30 minutes of action on Saturday evening Natalie Stone was instrumental in a 67-48 CLU win over Occidental. The junior had a standout performance, coming up with seven steals while handing out five assists.  From the field she was a perfect 4-for-4 for eight points to put her within striking distance of a triple-double. Additionally, Stone came down with a pair of rebounds. The Regals have won three of their last four games and the most recent notched the first SCIAC victory of the season for CLU. Stone has started all 11 games this season for Cal Lutheran.


Luis Burgos

Swimming & Diving

After the Inaugural Chris Knorr Invitational at Cal Lutheran, sophomore Kingsmen swimmer Luis Burgos was named the first recipient of the Chris Knorr Leadership Award for his passion for swimming, leadership and extracurricular involvement as Burgos encompasses the spirit, enthusiasm, dedication and drive that Knorr exhibited. On Saturday, Burgos stepped up to the blocks five times in the meet, swimming the 100 Breaststroke, 100 Freestyle and 50 Free as well as the 400 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay.
