Mimi Harbach


Mimi Harbach won multiple events for the fifth consecutive SCIAC meet in 2012-13 this weekend in a loss to Whittier. The junior was victorious in the 200 free (1:59.21), 500 free (5:19.64) and the 200 IM (2:15.63). Harbach was the only swimmer to break the 2-minute mark in the 200 free, winning by 2.1 seconds. She won the 500 by more than six seconds and hit the wall more than five seconds ahead of her closest competitor in the 200 IM. To open the meet, she anchored the winning 400 Medley Relay team that clocked in at 4:13.01, nearly a second and a half ahead of second place, for the Regals.

Conrad Sheffer


Conrad Sheffer won three individual events and was part of a winning relay as CLU defeated Whittier 161.5-132.5 on Saturday. He paced 1-2-3 CLU sweeps in both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes. The junior won the 100 in 1:01.57 before winning the 200 in 2:21.19, winning by three and four seconds, respectively. Sheffer went on to win the 200 IM in 2:04.02, again touching the wall more than four seconds ahead of his closest competitor. In the opening 400 Medley Relay, Sheffer swam the breaststroke leg of the winning 3:44.59 quartet in a split of 1:00.02. In 2012-13 he has won multiple events at all five SCIAC meets as the Kingsmen are currently 2-3.
