Anthony Monroe

Football

Anthony Monroe continued to embrace his starting role this week with 10 total tackles, four solo stops, with 3.5 for a loss. Monroe was credited with a pair of huge sacks for a loss of 37 combined yards. He was a nuisance all game as the No. 7 Cal Lutheran Kingsmen defeated Chapman 38-28 to claim their fourth consecutive SCIAC title, stretching their conference undefeated streak to 27. CLU will appear in the NCAA Postseason for the fourth straight year and Monroe will surely be a playmaker. In two games he has 25 total tackles with three sacks.

Monroe was also named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.

Taylor Will

Taylor Will closed out her sophomore season in impressive fashion, scoring all four of CLU's goals during their NCAA Tournament run. Will scored both goals against Wartburg as CLU upset the host team 2-1 in the first round of the NCAA tournament and gave CLU their first post season victory in over a decade.

The Santa Maria, Calif. native also netted both goals in a close loss to Concordia-Moorhead in the second round as CLU fell 3-2.

Will finished the season with 18 goals and was named the SCIAC Women's Soccer Athlete of the Year.
