Lauren Kennedy

Women's Track & Field

Lauren Kennedy broke the Cal Lutheran record in the 100-meter hurdles finishing in a time of 15.02 seconds at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational on Saturday, April 14.

Kennedy set her personal best by over two-tenths of a second, and was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the event. Her mark is currently tops in the SCIAC and is the 26th fastest in the country.

Justin Wilson

Men's Tennis

Justin Wilson won at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles during a 7-2 confererence win over Occidental on Saturday, April 14. The No. 5 nationally ranked Kingsmen ran their to 11-5, 3-0 SCIAC with the victory.

Wilson moved up to No. 14 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) West Region singles rankings prior to the match. He earned a straight sets win after he teamed up with Connor Treacy for an 8-5 win in doubles.

Kim Kolibas

Women's Tennis

Kim Kolibas went 3-1 during a pair of conference road matches this past week against No. 27 Redlands and Occidental. She capped off the week against the Tigers with her first singles victory over a regionally ranked opponent this season.

Kolibas and teammate Holly Beaman teamed up for a convincing 8-1 victory at first singles against the nationally ranked Bulldogs. The No. 11 West Region ranked duo won its third straight match following a 9-7 win over Occidental at first singles on Saturday, April 14.

Kolibas won a third set super tiebreak against No. 20 West Region ranked Krishnaveni Subbiah of Occidental for a 6-3, 6-7 (4), 1-0 (10-7) victory. The CLU senior improved to 4-1 in doubles and 2-3 in singles in conference action.
