Matt Snyder

Men's Golf

Snyder led the Cal Lutheran squad to the Texas Lutheran University ConCan Invitational championship outlasting a field made up of 15 other teams. He finished the 36-hole event with a total score of 146 (+2) after shooting a pair of 73's at Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco, Texas.

Cal Lutheran shot a team score of 597 (+21) winning the team title by seven strokes over runner-up Mary Hardin-Baylor at 604 (+28). Snyder finished tied for second and only one stroke behind Jack Cersosimo of Concordia (TX) for the individual title.

Cal Lutheran moved up to No. 10 in the latest Division III Golfstat rankings currently placing them the second highest among SCIAC schools.

Jessika Bell

Women's Water Polo

In her most recent start Bell made 17 saves during a 12-5 win over Gannon at the Wolverine Invitational hosted by the University of Michigan on Saturday, March 17. She also dished out two steals and an assist in the victory.

During the second half of the team's 13-8 comeback win over Notre Dame College, Bell made four saves and grabbed four steals. For the second time in as many games she held the opposition to just two second half goals.

Cal Lutheran is currently ranked No. 4 in Division III and has won eight of its last nine contests. The Regals lone loss during that stretch was to No. 13 ranked Division I squad Michigan.
