Daniel Mosier


Cal Lutheran clinched its third straight undefeated SCIAC season following a 70-20 road win over Occidental. Mosier carried the ball 14 times for 154 yards and scored two of the team's eight rushing touchdowns on the day.

His second score was the 17th of the season for Mosier. It tied the Kingsmen program record set in 1974 by former NFL player Hank Bauer. On that same play Mosier broke Bauer's scoring record with his 18th touchdown overall this year.

Mosier also became the fifth player in CLU history to go over 1,000 rushing yards in a single season. Following Saturday's performance he sits third all-time with 1,027.

No. 8 Cal Lutheran will face No. 5 Linfield in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 19.

Kylie McLogan


SCIAC Athlete of the Week

Kylie McLogan was named the Most Outstanding Player at the Cal Lutheran Regional after CLU won its NCAA Regional Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 13.

Over the first three NCAA Tournament matches she accounted for 55 kills while facing No. 23 Whitworth, Chapman, and No. 12 Colorado College. In the regional final against the Tigers, McLogan produced 20 kills in 37 swings and recorded a double-double with 11 digs.

McLogan became the fourth player in program history with 400 kills in a single season following Sunday's victory. She is also tied for the team lead this season with 40 aces.

No. 17 Cal Lutheran will face No. 5 Wittenberg in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 18.
