Toccoa Kahovec

Women's Cross Country

The senior finished runner-up at the 2011 SCIAC Cross Country Championships this past Saturday at Prado Regional Park. Kahovec became the first Regal runner in program history to earn three All-SCIAC First Team finishes.

She finished the 6k course in a time of 23:36.88, only 25 seconds behind the race winner. Kahovec improved on her result during each of her four seasons finishing 14th as a freshman, 9th as a sophomore and fourth during her junior year.

Danny Mock

Men's Water Polo

The Kingsmen goalkeeper made 11 saves in Saturday's 8-6 win over the nation's top ranked squad in Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. On Wednesday against Whittier, Mock made 10 saves in a 10-3 home win over the Poets.

Those two victories moved Cal Lutheran into a four-way tie for the top spot in the SCIAC standings. The Kingsmen currently lead the SCIAC in scoring defense allowing just 27 goals through five contests.

Mock has made 38 saves in his four games of work and has a goals against average of 5.00 in SCIAC play.
