Andrew Giuffrida

Men's Tennis

At the SCIAC Championships this past weekend the senior went 5-1 overall at the No. 1 spot for both singles and doubles in the Kingsmen lineup.

He teamed up with Ray Worley to go undefeated (3-0) featuring wins over two nationally ranked doubles teams.

Giuffrida earned all-SCIAC First Team honors going 7-1 against conference opponents in singles play.


Rachel Hahn

Women's Water Polo

On "Senior Day" Hahn provided 10 saves and two steals as No. 6 Cal Lutheran defeated No. 4 Pomona-Pitzer by a 9-4 score. She led CLU's defensive effort that held the Sagehens scoreless over the final 14 minutes of regulation while the Regals scored five unanswered goals to close out the game.

Hahn added five more stops in three quarters of work during an 11-3 road victory over Caltech on Wednesday.

Nick Boggan


The sophomore slugger currently leads the SCIAC in slugging percentage (.725), home runs (10), runs scored (48)and total bases (103) while ranking second in batting average (.423), on base percentage (.500), hits (60) and RBI (43).

This past weekend he added to those numbers by going 3-for-3 with five RBI including a three-run blast against the Beavers. CLU won both of its back-to-back SCIAC contests following an 8-3 win over Whittier in which Boggan went 3-for-5 with an RBI and scored twice.
