Women's Soccer

The senior net minder was the goalie of record during all three of No. 19 Cal Lutheran's wins this past week including road triumphs over Chapman and La Verne, along with a Homecoming victory over Redlands.

Borzi made a pair of saves in a 3-0 shutout of Redlands to end the week as Cal Lutheran secured a SCIAC Tournament semifinal game at home for the first time in program history.

Against the Leopards she made a week-high seven saves and to begin the week against the Panthers she made two first half stops.

She currently tops the conference and ranks 30th nationally in goals against average (0.52), and 32nd in save percentage (.882).

The junior rusher recorded his fourth straight multi-touchdown performance in a row against a SCIAC opponent after putting up a career-high 131 yards on the ground during No. 22 Cal Lutheran's 38-7 win over Pomona-Pitzer this past Saturday.

This season his league performances include 93 yards and three TDs against Redlands, 102 yards and two scores against Whittier, 41 yards and two TDs in just over two quarters of action against La Verne prior to the win over the Sagehens.

Chambers currently leads all rushers in conference only play with 367 yards and nine touchdowns.
