California Lutheran University volleyball players Lindsey Benson and Allison Kerr were selected as 2008 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Americans.
The California Lutheran University volleyball team gave host University of La Verne all it could handle coming up just short in a 1-3 loss in the West region final. CLU took the first set but ULV won the three straight including a dramatic 28-26 margin in the final set.
The California Lutheran University volleyball team made it back-to-back regional sweeps after tonight's 3-0 victory over No. 9 nationally ranked California State University East Bay. The Regals will play the host University of La Verne in the West region championship on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
The California Lutheran University volleyball team swept the University of Puget Sound (WA) in the team's West region quarterfinal match on Thursday afternoon at the University of La Verne. The Regals will face Cal State University East Bay at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow in the semifinals.
Lindsey Benson, Allison Kerr, Summer Plante-Newman, Cori Hayes and Erin Exline were all selected to the 2008 All-SCIAC Team, released on Tuesday. CLU and La Verne had five players apiece to lead all institutions.
It's official. The California Lutheran University volleyball team is one of 61 teams to qualify for the 2008 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship. The Regals earned the No. 3 seed out of the West region and will face No. 6 seed Puget Sound (WA) on Thursday afternoon.
The California Lutheran University volleyball team swept Occidental College, 3-0 to conclude its 2008 regular season schedule. Senior Summer Plante-Newman led the team with eight kills and added 10 digs in the victory.
