A healthy mix of veteran leadership and young talent make up the Cal Lutheran volleyball team for the upcoming season. Thirteen returners, five newcomers and a head coach eager to win her first conference crown have provided great expectations and high hopes for the 2010 campaign.
The Cal Lutheran women's volleyball players barely have enough time to learn each other's names each year before opening the season. The team has only a week between its first practice and its first match.

The CLU athletics department will be honoring its finest athletes over the past 10 years by releasing Cal Lutheran All-Decade Teams throughout the upcoming summer. The reigning SCIAC Champion football team will be the first of 19 programs to have its all-decade team announced, schedule to be released on Monday, May 24.
The Cal Lutheran Scholar-Athlete Society held its annual banquet on May 8 and inducted 91 student-athletes for achieving at least a 3.4 cumulative GPA during the 2009-10 academic year. Seven CLU senior athletes were honored after making their fourth appearance in as many years.
