The Cal Lutheran men's tennis, women's tennis and softball teams have all postponed their respective scheduled matches that were originally taking place this weekend due to the recent rainfall in the city of Thousand Oaks. The Kingsmen tennis teams announcement came early Saturday morning as their match with Chapman will take place on Sunday, Feb. 21.

The Cal Lutheran softball squad opened up its 2010
campaign sweeping a Sunday doubleheader with La Sierra by 15-2 and 9-1 scores. Lizzy
Chacón was the winning pitcher in the CLU season opener for the fourth straight
year while teammate Talia Ferrari set a school record with 11 strikeouts in
game two.

The Cal Lutheran women's tennis team will travel to
Occidental College on Saturday morning initiating the 2010 spring sports
schedule. The CLU baseball and softball teams will provide the first home
spring contests with both hosting Sunday doubleheaders against La Sierra at 11
a.m. and Noon, respectively.

The 2010 Regals softball team will be returning
every one of its eligible players from last season's team which posted the most
single season wins since 2003. Cal Lutheran hopes its youthful group gaining a
year of experience will pay off with its first bid into the SCIAC postseason
tournament.

Into the later evening and early morning hours of
Wednesday and Thursday will the longstanding CLU tradition of Midnight Madness,
where students will celebrate the beginning of the Kingsmen and Regals
basketball season, also begins Homecoming Weekend October 15-18.
