Ostrander Runs with Best at Nationals

As the 2009 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship race kicked off on Saturday, junior Ray Ostrander of the Cal Lutheran men's cross country team officially became the third Kingsmen to ever compete in the event. By the end, he finished in 144th place out of 276 of the top harriers in the country with a time of 27:03.4.

After it owned a one-point advantage at halftime, the No. 14 Cal Lutheran men's basketball team fell 80-74 in its season opener at Chapman University on Friday night. Senior Kyle Knudsen led the Kingsmen with 17 points and four assists while playing 40 minutes.
