Robertson, Chacon Collect Postseason Honors
Sophomores Lizzy Chacon and Emily Robertson on the California Lutheran University softball team were selected to the 2008 All-SCIAC Second Team. Along with the conference honor Robertson was named to the 2008 Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-West Region Third Team.

The California Lutheran University women’s water polo team wrapped up the 2008 season with a runner-up finish at the Collegiate III Championships at Connecticut College on Sunday afternoon. The Regals fell 7-6 late in the second stanza of sudden death overtime to Cal State East Bay in the tournament finale.

The California Lutheran University baseball team completed a three-game weekend sweep of Whittier College on the road Saturday afternoon winning a pair of games by 6-4 and 15-2 margins. CLU extends its SCIAC win streak to nine games following three-game sweeps of Caltech, Pomona-Pitzer and now Whittier.
